The problem

Printing school cards means a lot of small, near-identical artwork with details that differ per student. Doing it in a design tool by hand does not scale, and the person ordering is not a designer.

What we built

  • Browser-based design tool built on a canvas engine, with templates and layers
  • Admin portal for managing products, artwork and orders
  • Android application published on Google Play
  • Backend and database serving both the portal and the app
